The Children’s Ministry of Calvary Worship Center is excited about the ministry we have here with infants through 7th graders. We aim to support families and partner with them in the raising of God-loving and God-fearing children.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the CWC Children’s Ministry Department! The opportunity to serve as teachers is one we take seriously, regarding it as an honour and a privilege from the Lord. We want to do our best in serving Him, and through Him, serving you and your child. Our desire is to collaborate with you in making these years memorable and challenging as your child grows in his or her knowledge of love for the Lord. The Children’s Ministry of Calvary Worship Center is excited about the ministry we have here with infants through 7th graders. We aim to support families and partner with them in the raising of God-loving and God-fearing children. We look forward to seeing children’s lives transformed by the impact of God’s Word. This is done by age appropriate lessons, music, worship, games, crafts and social interaction. We are reminded that it is during the critical years, age 5 - 12, that lifelong habits, values, beliefs and attitudes are formed. Most people who trust Jesus as their Saviour do so before the age of 15.
In this time of reflecting on our children and their spiritual growth, it is important that we understand together God’s expectations of how our children should be nurtured. To raise God-loving and God-fearing children it is paramount to gain a proper perspective on the partnership between parents and the church. Our church is crucial in this process, but it is the child’s family that is central.
Recognizing that as the parent, you are the one that God ultimately holds responsible for your child’s faith training, our desire is to partner with you to build a strong and firm foundation.
This is reflected in our Mission Statement:
To team up with parents in their endeavour to build a strong spiritual foundation; to teach children Biblical Truths through activities and lessons that will enhance your child’s understanding;
To prepare your child for Christ’s second coming; Sending out your child to Share the Gospel; Establish a life changing relationship with Jesus, whilst equipping them to be faithful servants of Christ.
